Kos is a fairly large Island based in the Aegean Sea, the main town of Kos is to the east of the island and is linked to many other Greek islands by the Greek inter island ferry network. Plus, there is a fast catamaran service to Bodrum, Turkey just a few kilometres away. The airport is based in the centre of the island and take about 1 hour, by road transfer to Kos town where the main harbour/marina is also housed.

There is much of interest to see on the island; including many ancient historic sites and you will also see evidence of more recent Ottoman and Italian occupation, of this island. Founder of medicene ancient physician Hippocrates was also born here and there is a museum you can visit, in his honour.
