How a Gulet Charter Works
Tell us your plan
Send your dates, group size and the coast you have in mind. Flexible dates are welcome and widen your choice of yachts.
Compare yachts
We reply within 12 hours, shortlist gulets that fit your group and budget and send written quotes you can compare line by line.
Confirm your charter
A 50% deposit confirms the booking and you sign the charter agreement. The balance is due a few weeks before departure; each yacht page lists the exact terms.
Sail
Your crew welcomes you at the marina. Agree the route with the captain, then swim, eat and anchor at your own pace. Our team stays reachable all week.
Private Charter or Cabin Charter?
A private charter gives your group the whole yacht for a week: your route, your pace, your crew. It is priced per yacht, so the cost per person falls as the group grows.
A cabin charter books a single cabin on a shared, scheduled cruise. It suits couples and small parties who enjoy meeting other guests.

What a Gulet Charter Costs
Gulets are priced per week for the whole yacht, so a larger group shares the cost. Rates rise with a yacht's size, age and class, and with the season: a June or September week costs about 14% less than the same yacht in August, and a May or October week about 29% less.
The weekly fee usually covers the yacht for your group alone, with captain, chef and crew, insurance, Wi-Fi, bedding and towels; on most yachts it also covers fuel for three to four hours of cruising a day. Food, drink, VAT and port fees depend on the country: in Turkey, food is charged as full board per person per day, 20% VAT is added to the fee and port fees are included, while Croatian gulets sell weekly meal packages and most include VAT. Airport transfers and crew tips are extra. Each yacht page lists its own terms.

What is a gulet?
A gulet is a traditional wooden motor-sailer built on Turkey's south-west coast: wide, stable and run by a professional crew. Modern gulets have air-conditioned en-suite cabins, shaded decks and water toys, and suit groups from small families to large parties.

How much does a gulet charter cost?
Gulets are priced per week for the whole yacht. Starting prices in our fleet run from about €1,000 to €175,000 per week, depending on size, class and season, and July and August cost the most. With every berth filled, a July or August week on a typical Turkish gulet works out at about €2,000 per guest before food and VAT. Food, drink, VAT and port fees depend on the country, and crew tips are extra.

Should I choose a private charter or a cabin charter?
A private charter gives your group the whole yacht, the route and the schedule, which suits families, friends and celebrations. A cabin charter books one cabin on a shared cruise and is a sociable option for couples and small parties.

When is the best time to charter a gulet?
Most charter weeks run from May to October. June and September bring warm water and fewer crowds, July and August are the hottest and busiest, and May and October are quieter and cheaper.

Where do gulet charters start?
In Turkey, most start from Bodrum, Göcek, Fethiye, Marmaris or Bozburun. In Croatia they start from Split, Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Trogir or Zadar, and in Greece from Athens, Kos or Rhodes. Yachts based in Croatia also cruise to Montenegro.

How many guests can a gulet sleep?
Gulets in our fleet sleep between 6 and 36 guests in 3 to 16 cabins, depending on the yacht's size. Every listing shows its exact guest capacity and cabin layout, so you can filter by the number of people in your group. Not sure which size fits? Tell us who is travelling and we will suggest yachts within 12 hours.
Do I need sailing experience?
No. Every yacht is chartered with a professional crew, usually a captain, a chef and service staff, who handle sailing, navigation, mooring and meals.
How far ahead should I book?
Peak weeks in July and August fill first, so book as early as you can if your dates are fixed. May, June, September and October are easier to book later, and flexible dates widen your choice of yachts.
