Luxury Gulet Yacht Charters in Athens, Greece

Athens is the capital of Greece and home to the Acropolis, one of the world's best-known heritage sites. It lies outside the classic Blue Cruise route, but it offers a different kind of charter holiday. The city has a large port and several marinas, with a range of yachts and gulets available for charter, including large VIP yachts. Athens International Airport is a major transport hub, so the road transfer to your yacht is quick, and many Greek islands are only a short journey from the coast.

From Athens you can sail the Saronic Gulf or head out to the Cyclades. Mykonos and Santorini are the best-known islands, and they can be included in a weekly charter, though they are very busy in high summer. A one-way charter from Athens through the Saronic Gulf gives you the flexibility to visit several smaller islands and finish at a different port, as most Greek islands have good ferry links. See all our Greece sailing itineraries for more ideas, or read our crewed yacht charter guide if this is your first charter.
