Round Trips from Split
Both round trips start and finish at Kaštela Marina, only a few minutes from Split Airport, so you fly in and out of the same airport. The Split to Split itinerary is the best introduction to central Dalmatia: a first night in the fishing village of Maslinica on Šolta, Hvar Town and the Pakleni Islands, the remote island of Vis with an optional trip to the Blue Cave, Korčula's old town and a last evening in Milna on Brač.
The Split to Kornati itinerary heads north instead. It sails up the Krka estuary to Skradin for the national park's waterfalls, spends two days among the bare, dramatic islands of the Kornati, and returns via Žirje, Primošten and the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir. It suits guests who prefer nature and quiet anchorages to busy harbour towns.
One-Way Routes Between Split and Dubrovnik
A one-way week covers the full length of southern Dalmatia without sailing any stretch twice. The Split to Dubrovnik itinerary takes in Brač, Vis and the Blue Cave, Hvar, Korčula, Mljet National Park and the quiet Elaphiti Islands before finishing near Dubrovnik. The Dubrovnik to Split itinerary runs in the other direction, starting with the Elaphiti Islands and Mljet's salt lakes and ending at Čiovo, just outside Split.

How to Choose the Right Croatia Route
- Flights: round trips from Split keep travel simple; one-way routes need flights into one city and out of the other.
- Interests: for lively towns and nightlife, choose a route through Hvar; for nature, choose Kornati, Krka or Mljet.
- Pace: most daily legs take two to four hours, leaving plenty of time for swim stops and lunch at anchor.
- Season: July and August are the busiest months for marinas and national parks, while June and September are calmer.
