Overview

This 8-day, 7-night gulet cruise starts and ends in Bodrum and crosses to the Datça peninsula and the Hisarönü Gulf. You will stop at Palamutbükü, Aktur and Bencik coves, Orhaniye, Selimiye, Bozburun, Datça and the ancient port of Knidos, swimming in clear bays along the way.

Highlights include the green-and-blue water of Aktur Cove, Bencik Cove at the narrowest point of the peninsula, the village of Selimiye, the harbour of Bozburun and sunset at Knidos, one of the great ports of the ancient world.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Bodrum Board the boat at 15:30 and enjoy a briefing on the boat and the trip. You then have some time to explore Bodrum, with a leisurely walk to the old town and its narrow streets lined with restaurants and cafés. If all guests arrive before 18:30, the boat sails to the nearest cove and drops anchor for dinner. Otherwise it stays in Bodrum port for the night.

Day 2

Bodrum to Palamutbükü and İnceburun After breakfast we receive detailed information about the program and the boat, and sail early for Palamutbükü, a hidden paradise bordered by turquoise water. After a lunch break we anchor in the calm bays of İnceburun and unwind.

Day 3

Aktur and Bencik After breakfast we head to Aktur Cove, a bay of beautiful green and blue tones. We then sail to Bencik Cove, at the narrowest point of the peninsula that separates the Hisarönü Gulf from the Gulf of Gökova, where there is time to swim and enjoy the scenery.

Day 4

Emel Sayın Bay, Orhaniye and Selimiye After a morning swim at Emel Sayın Cove we continue to the lovely bays of Orhaniye, where we swim in the cool Aegean and enjoy the sun. Dinner and overnight stay in the peaceful atmosphere of Selimiye.

Day 5

Dirsekbükü to Bozburun Breakfast is served in Dirsekbükü Cove, after which we sail to the charming harbour of Bozburun. We enjoy lunch with a view over the blue water, then take a leisurely walk along the coast and look at the local handicrafts.

Day 6

Datça to Knidos We set sail early for Datça and wander its narrow streets, trying local flavours and visiting the markets. Later we arrive at Knidos, a magnificent ancient port steeped in history, and watch the sunset.

Day 7

Karaada, Poyraz Harbour and Bodrum Early in the morning we head to Karaada and greet the day with a swim in clear water. We then anchor at Poyraz Harbour (Poyraz Limanı) for breakfast with spectacular views. In the evening we return to Bodrum harbour.

Day 8

Bodrum After breakfast you disembark in Bodrum by 10:30. Please note that the captain reserves the right to change the program depending on the weather conditions.
