Overview

This 8-day, 7-night gulet cruise starts and ends in Marmaris and explores the Hisarönü Gulf. You will visit Serçe Bay, Bozukkale, Bozburun, Selimiye, Bencik Bay, D Maris Bay and Orhaniye, with swim stops in some of the most beautiful and sheltered bays on the Turkish coast.

Highlights include the castle at Bozukkale, Dirsekbükü Bay, Dişlice Island, the restaurants of D Maris Bay, the village of Selimiye and Paradise Island, all within short sailing distances of each other.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Marmaris The closest airport is Dalaman, about 1 hour 15 minutes from Marmaris. When you arrive in Marmaris, our agency representative meets you and accompanies you to your gulet. After an introduction to the gulet and crew, the route is explained on the map. You can spend the first night in Marmaris port if you wish, but we recommend a nearby bay.

Day 2

Marmaris to Serçe Bay and Bozukkale After breakfast we leave the bay near Marmaris and head to Serçe Harbour, a wonderful sheltered bay, for lunch and a swim. We then sail to Bozukkale, where we spend the evening. There is a historic castle at Bozukkale, and guests who wish can climb up to the castle walls.

Day 3

Bozukkale to Dirsekbükü and Kocabahçe After breakfast in Bozukkale we sail to Dirsekbükü, one of the most magnificent bays of the Hisarönü Gulf, for lunch and a swim. Dinner and overnight in Kocabahçe.

Day 4

Kocabahçe to Dişlice Island and Bencik Bay After breakfast we sail to Dişlice Island for lunch and a swim in its magnificent water. We spend the night in Bencik Bay, or, if you prefer to eat out, in D Maris Bay, where there are Greek, French and Turkish restaurants. Please tell us in advance if you wish to make a reservation.

Day 5

Orhaniye and Selimiye After breakfast we have lunch and a swim at Kızkumu in Orhaniye village, about 15 minutes from Marmaris. If you wish, you can rent a car and go shopping in Marmaris, or walk in the sea at Kızkumu. We then sail to Selimiye, one of the most beautiful villages of the Hisarönü Gulf. You can spend the night in the harbour, or take a 1-2 hour village tour, have dinner and stay in a beautiful bay near Selimiye.

Day 6

Selimiye to Adaboğazı and Bozburun After breakfast in Selimiye we sail to Adaboğazı, the most magnificent island of the Hisarönü Gulf. After lunch and a swim we can take a short walk in Bozburun village. You can have dinner in Bozburun port, or we can stay in a bay near Bozburun.

Day 7

Bozburun to Kadırga Bay and Paradise Island After breakfast we leave Bozburun and anchor in Kadırga Bay for lunch and a swim, then continue to Paradise Island. If you wish, we have dinner and stay overnight there and return to port in the morning. The second option is to stay overnight in Marmaris port; it all depends on your wishes.
