This 7-day, 6-night gulet cruise starts and ends in Bodrum and crosses the border into the Greek Dodecanese. You will visit Kos, Leros, Patmos and Kalymnos, sleeping in harbours and marinas with time ashore on every island.

Highlights include the Asklepion and castle of Kos, the Italian-era architecture of Leros, the Monastery of St John and the Cave of the Apocalypse on Patmos, and the sponge-fishing harbour of Kalymnos, before a return to Bodrum and its castle.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Bodrum

Bodrum to Kos Welcome on board and meet the crew. Guests who check in early on the first day complete customs and passport formalities for leaving Turkey and then depart for the port of Kos.

Day 2 Kos Island

Kos Island After breakfast we sail to Kos, birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of medicine, and home to the Asklepion, one of the best-known healing centres of the ancient world. After lunch on board you can visit the Asklepion, the castle and the museum. You can also swim in the warm waters of the Empros thermal baths on the south coast or at the beach nearest to the centre. Dinner and overnight on board in Kos harbour. Kos is also known for its lively nightlife.

Day 3 Leros islands

Kos to Leros After breakfast we cruise to Leros, a mountainous green island with high cliffs, small bays and villages. A popular holiday island that has kept most of its genuine atmosphere, Leros is not too dependent on tourism. Many buildings are in Italian style, alongside the typical white Greek houses with blue doors and windows. Dinner and overnight on board in Leros Marina.

Day 4 Patmos islands

Leros to Patmos We cruise to Patmos, a small but very well-known island. It was here that St John had his vision and wrote the Apocalypse, which is why Patmos is sometimes called the Jerusalem of the Aegean. The Monastery of St John towers above the capital, Chora, and the whole island breathes faith and devotion. According to mythology, Patmos was a gift from Zeus to his daughter Artemis, who was worshipped here in antiquity, and the monastery is said to stand on the site of her temple. Day 5 Kalymnos island

Patmos to Kalymnos After breakfast we sail to Kalymnos, part of the Dodecanese between Kos and Leros. An attractive island whose people live mostly in the capital and main port, Kalymnos is famous for its sponge-fishing industry. Dinner and overnight on board in Kalymnos Marina.

Day 6

Kalymnos to Kos After breakfast we sail back to Kos. Dinner and overnight on board in Kos Marina, where the check-out and customs paperwork is completed for the return to Bodrum.

Day 7 Bodrum

Kos to Bodrum After breakfast we sail back to Turkey and Bodrum Marina. You may visit Bodrum Castle, built by the Knights of St John and now home to one of the world's great underwater archaeology museums. Dinner and overnight on board.
